i've done a bit of price checking and the results show that it is too expensive unless there is a way to earn money fast i think we should scrap the idea any objections???

Today is quite a nice day, i love the idea we had gotten today. however the budget is a problem. IPW is only a, let say a project. so i dont think we had to spent so much money. as after we are done with it our product might be place there and 'rust'.I am think if i can get things simple, i porpose going to the second hand shop to get some materials that are in good working condition. If i am not work my classmate own one and we might be able to go there and getting much better discounts. We happen to have a old chopter but dont know if it is in working condition. i personally havent seen the copter, if it is too small then it is fine but the camera will be stick to the front which increase chance of droping it. now i am currently looking on ebay and the internet hoping to find something that meets the requirement.

I think that we should just use the roflcopter name for our group name.I also think that if we were to go on with the plan of making the spy helicopter,we should have a plan B if it doesnt work out well .Not only that I think that if the whole project requires more than our budget which was $200 at first, but now $150 ,then we will go for plan B which is a simpler gadget and requires lesser money or even go to a second hand shop to bargain or maybe ask our teachers for help.I also think that if everyone could just put in a little more effort in contributing to this project. We would be able to finish this faster and still have time to check if there are any errors .

Well so today is my turn to post about our thoughts. We discussed and decided that making a thumbdrive would be slightly too conventional and complicated as well, but yet we thought up of another idea. Joel liked hidden cameras, like those spy ones. Jun hui and I saw a video of a D.I.Y remote-controlled flying car. But the flying car was way too complicated given our limited resources, thus we thought, why not take a remote-controlled car and put a spy camera on it. We thought of other possibilities as well, such as a spy pen, a spy water bottle. Something normal. So now we are focusing on creating a spy object. We seem to be getting somewhere

Basically, today is our first lesson. So, we are sort of clueless. Not actually clueless but we dont know where or what to start with. At first we had lots of ideas, crappy ones such as a toy set.
However, at the end we arrived at the decision that we could possibly make thumbdrive, a special one.We kept to toy or lets say fun ideas. How do we arrive here? Since we have a macbook thus we thought we should make something related. Started with multipurpose all-in-one(Thumb drive,speaker,...anything that is useful). But find it too costly so we cut it down to a thumbdrive.
We are most likely using wood and pen knife to carve. We haven't really decided on it yet bacause our leader Joel Lee is not around. In the meantime we are just researching on how we can make it and when we can get our materials. We will be sure when he gets back.
